Everytime I enter the campus, my eyes instinctively focus on the front yard of the Pearson Hall. A space where the waiting shade was previously positioned and there were flashbacks on my mind of a long lost contact friend.
I remembered how we first met, she asked for my name and shook my hand. That was the start of a good friendship. Since we were classmates in all subjects, we spent more time together. We shared laughter, tears and aspirations. She comforted me everytime i feel weary and vice versa.Were like sisters in closeness.
One day, my classmate asked me why i make friends with an alien-like girl.I was disturbed with his comment and thought of what he said.
She has that unusual physical features but it doesn't stop me to get close to her because she was one of a kind. Behind those what they called alien-like features was a golden heart and a good character to be admired.
Some people were fond of judging person through outer appearance without taking into account their inner characteristics which is the most important thing in building friendship.
They should appreciate any individual because everybody was made for a purpose and bear on their minds that every person was created in the likeness of God.
Even though the waiting shade was removed, I still cherish the good memories in stored in my heart. Hoping that someday, somehow, our roads will meet and continue the friendship that we had.

SSPSC ONLINE
Everybody was pleasantly surprised when the SSPSC Administration announced few days ago the opening of Internet access computers.As a student, I was able to visit the building. There were more or less ten computers to utilize. I was one of the lucky students who were able to use the computer on that day. The service was good. Just a click of a mouse everything you wanted to know was there.
Obviously, our campus showed modern improvement which is beneficial for us, students, who are eager to gain knowledge to be competitive in this high tech world.
With this technology, it would easy for us to accomplish any academic requirements and it provides us complete and latest information without sweat unlike finding books in libraries which is sometimes lacking. These were tools for us to enhance our knowledge and a bridge to a wider range in the world of learning.
I believe that the school was trying to make a difference and provide such facilities for the students benefits but there were murmurings in the campus about the expensive charge for this modern development.300 pesos was being added to our tuition fees while we can only use it five hours a day, only to those lucky fellow who can use the computer everyday.
Most of the students were here because they have financial difficulties. Their parents can't afford to send them to exclusive universities.
Since this is a state college, they were expecting to have less expense and they wonder why that amount was being charged for the Internet which was not costly to install? They should have informed the students before charging them.

To Sacrifice Is To Suceed
Dreamers are those who wants to succeed, the ones who are facing difficulties and making sacrifices for the realization of their dreams.
Rosita, a colleague who dreamed to be a teacher, a noble profession that will help her to alleviate her family's status but she need to pass the hole of the needle because she was a product of a poor family.
She became a working student at the age of eleven, she painstakingly stand amidst the challenges and naively believe that being strong and determined were the keys to success.
She sacrificed of being away from her family.Studying was her priority.She discouraged
herself to engage of having barkada and thought they were temptations to be avoided.
She envied her friends who have parents that can support them not only on financial matters but on time well spent with them.
People quoted that SACRIFICE AND SUCCESS GO TOGETHER, as if they were conjoined twins, where one can't survive without the other. True, how will you call it success when there's no sacrifice?
A dreamer Rosita was never a less fortunate but a modern hero who doesn't stop dreaming and hoping that her sacrifices will be rewarded in the end with success.

Confession Of A Broken Heart
One day, a classmate commented my new haircut, he asked me why i have this boyish look? "Maybe you're in despair?" as he giggled to laugh...I spent minutes looking up myself at the mirror ..."Am i really in despair?" No, not in my hair..Deep inside pins started pricking and refreshed the undying scar. Let me tell you the story...
I was a teenager once, walking hand in hand with someone I adored. A man who promised not to break my innocent heart. I feel at ease,believing every promising words he say, thinking that he was one of a kind. But all those words were only sweet lies that turned this heart into pieces after I learned his infidelity.All expectations puffed and carried away by the wind. I was deeply hurt. Studies, work and attitude were affected. I tried to be optimistic, I cut off our communication to put things back to normal.
Its not in my hair anyway. I decided to have this new look because it was my friend's suggestion, it suited with the shape of my face and I'm comfortable with it.
Although i had this unhappy love affair, it has nothing to do the look i have now. But from the psychological point of view, one never knows?
